Skip the crowded gym and train in a private space.

Stop Googling your training questions. Train with me and I’ll remove all the guess work. Just show up with a positive attitude and ready to work and I’ll do the rest.

"Good workouts get you sweaty and a bit tired, but great workouts get you fitter and stronger."

Before training with Juan I rarely worked out. And when I did, I didn’t enjoy them. They felt pointless and unorganized.  Now I look forward to training after work. Not only have I dropped body fat, I’ve also learned that I can work harder than what I initially thought.

  • What part of training do you enjoy the most?  The boxing. I love that it’s fast paced and that it requires focus.

I’ve been training with Juan for about 6 years now. Training for me is a “non-negotiable” part of my daily routine. I train not only to be athletic and strong, but to keep my mental health in check. I’ve learned a lot training with Juan. He pushes me to work harder- even when I don’t want to.

  • What part of training do you enjoy the most?  The interval circuits. I like looking at the high calorie burn at the end of a session.

The Secret To Personal Training Success

daniel smith

This is my client and friend Daniel. I think he’s done a pretty amazing job over the last couple of months.

He started at 205 lbs (about 20% body fat) and now he’s at 188 lbs (about 16% body fat). He trained hard and used a meal prep service throughout the week to help him stay on track.

On day one of working together he could only do 1 Pull-up, and now he’s at 9 unassisted.

I’m about to let you in in a little secret.

The secret to personal training success is not the client. It is not me. Success depends heavily on the relationship, partnership and effort between both.

If I give my client meaningful advice and insights and he or she does not act upon it, then most likely the results won’t be significant.

In the other hand, If the client is committed and willing to do the work but I give him poor advice and training.

Then that will also yield a poor outcome.

One-on-One Training

Get laser focused attention and guidance.

This path is perfect for someone that wants individualized attention and guidance. It doesn’t matter if you are a beginner or an advanced trainee, you will learn new ways of training that can make your workouts more efficient, safer and fun.

To begin you’ll start with a short fitness assessment. Then a 4 week program will be created based on your needs and goals. We’ll talk over your lifestyle and nutrition and identify potential pitfalls.

Each session is 60 minutes long and always starts with a warm up that will consists of mobility exercises.

I highly suggest to use a heart rate monitor like a polar chest strap or arm band to keep track of your intensity and calories burned in a session.

Semi Private Training

About Me

Fitness has been an integral piece of my life for as long as I can remember.  From playing little league baseball when I was a young boy to breakdancing and karate in my teens to fitness training in my early 20s.

I strongly believe fitness can change anyone’s life. I don’t have to brag about the benefits of physical activity. You know this already. It’s been on countless news article, blog posts, tweets and in other social channels.

My job is to make the process seamless, effective and safe for you.

Fitness it’s not just about acquiring new muscle and six pack abs- those are just the bonus.  It’s about taking the time to do something meaningful for yourself, for your body as well for your mental health and overall well-being.

I’ve been a personal trainer for 14 years and I’ve learned a lot from training clients from all different ages, body types and physical abilities.

I want to teach you new things. I want to challenge you both mentally and physically. If you want to learn, if you want to work hard and have fun (sometimes it’s not) at the same time then my coaching program is for you.

Let's do this Juan!
