Bodyweight Cardio: Hopping Side Kick Throughs & Burpee Tuck Jumps

Bodyweight Cardio consist of a group of exercises or movements that are designed to test and condition your cardiovascular performance.


They usually don’t require any equipment at all in most cases (except for maybe a jump rope). In my opinion, in order for the bodyweight cardio workout to be effective, you need to incorporate whole body movements.


I’ve included one of my favorite bodyweight exercises, the Hopping Side Kick through.


I’ve paired up the Hopping Side Kick Through with another metabolically demanding exercise, the Burpee Tuck Jump.

  • Hopping Side Kick Throughs: 20 seconds
  • Burpee Tuck Jumps: 15 seconds


4x (rest 20 seconds in between exercises)
